The short-lived partnership between James Henry Craddock and Alexander Hay lasted only part of the year 1890. Shortly after Craddock & Woods, Architects dissolved their firm, Craddock formed a new partnership with Alexander Hay as Craddock & Hay, Architects.[1] Scottish-born Hay immigrated in the late 1880s and appears to have practiced in Lowell, Massachusetts before and after his brief sojourn to Nebraska. By 1893, he was practicing in New Orleans, where he resided until his death in 1937. In his last decades he operated a bookstore.
