Frank Simmons, ca. 1963.

Frank Martin Simmons was born June 25, 1910. He attended the University of Nebraska's College of Architecture, then he worked for a couple Nebraska firms before relocating to New Orleans, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He moved frequently while working with this organization, but he returned to Nebraska in 1954 to work for a succession of Omaha firms, which notably included John Latenser & Sons, HDR, and Leo A. Daly Company. Simmons died March 27, 1968 and was survived by his wife, Winona, and two sons.[[#References|[1][2]
