Hermann Benson Riherd was born in Stephenville, Texas on January 11, 1909. He attended Tarleton State College from 1928-1930, receiving his Associate’s degree in Architecture, and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Architecture, from Texas A & M College in 1933. He worked for Frank McNett & Company in Grand Island. Riherd became married in 1942, and had one child.[2]
