Simon Redbird (1872- ), Architect
Simon Redbird was born in June 1872 in Michigan. He worked as a carpenter on the Fort Lewis Indian Reservation in La Plata County, Colorado. He continued practicing this craft in Genoa, Nebraska, adding architecture to his repertoire before moving to Grand Island. Redbird was married to Bertha and had a son, Kermit.[1][2][3]
