Robert “Bob” Harry Burgin was born in Avoca, Iowa on March 22, 1934 to parents Lilly and Harry Burgin. Burgin received his Architecture degree from Washington University. [4] He was a longtime practicing architect in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and a registered architect in Nebraska.[1] He owned the company Robert H. Burgin & Associates in Iowa. He married Nancy Oderdorfer in 1957, and had two sons, one daughter, and eight grand-children. Burgin died on January 12, 2012. [4]
