Ralph Higgins Taylor, Jr. (1930-1992), Architect
Ralph Higgins Taylor, Jr. was born in Oak Park, Illinois on February 24, 1930. Before studying architecture, Taylor served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. He then attended the University of Nebraska, receiving his Bachelor’s of Architecture in 1956. [2] Taylor began working for the firm Henningson Durham & Richardson, Architects & Engineers in Omaha, in 1960. Taylor married a woman named Peg, and they went on to have five children. Taylor was a member of the American Institute of Architects, Construction Specialties Institute, the Rotary Club of Gainesville, and the American Legion. He died in Gainesville, Florida on February 2, 1992.[2][3][4]
