Edward Wright (1857-1896), Architect-Builder

Edward Wright was born in Dover, Delaware on February 17, 1857.[1][2] He lived in Delaware until 1876, when he moved to Fort Scott, Kansas where he worked in manufacturing. In 1878, he came to Scotia, Nebraska.[[#References|[2][4] Other than being known as the top merchant in Scotia in 1882, Ed designed the Ed Wright Building in Scotia, Nebraska in 1887.[GY05-001] Wright was married to Mary Jane Bean of Scotia in 1882. He died on December 11, 1896.[2
