Carl Jensen (1864-1939), Carpenter-Architect
Carl Jensen was born in Helsingor, Denmark on September 4, 1864. In 1887, at the age of 22, Jensen immigrated to Waupacka, Wisconsin in the United States, then in 1888 to Racine, Wisconsin. From there Jensen moved to Central City, Nebraska, then to Hampton- where he was an important builder, and finally to Marquette.[1]
