James T. Casperson (1923-2009), Architect
James T. Casperson was born in Iroquois, South Dakota, July 4, 1923, to Elva and Ernest Casperson. He attended South Dakota State College and the Iowa State University College of Engineering. Casperson was a WWII veteran co-pilot in the U. S. Army Air Corps. He was married to Doris Olson Casperson, and they had one son and two daughters. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects, Faith Baptist Church, Gideons International, Kiwanis, and was a Boy Scout leader at Washington School in the 1960s. Casperson died in Omaha, June 11, 2009.[1]
