DBA: Marean & Norton

Willis Adams Marean was born in Woodhull, New York on May 24, 1853. He received his education and training at the State Normal School in Genesea, New York and at a private technical institution in New York City. He moved to Denver in the spring of 1880, where he went to work for Frank E. Edbrooke, brother of Willoughby J. Edbrooke (1843-1896), Architect. He became a partner with Edbrooke the following year. That partnership dissolved in 1895, when Marean became a senior partner in the firm of Marean & Norton, together with another former Edbrooke employee, Albert J. Norton. Marean died February 9, 1939.[2][3]
