Robert W. D. Baker (1835- ), Superintendent
Born in March, 1835, in Massachusetts, little is known about Robert W. D. Baker until the 1890s when, in his late fifties, he is identified as the superintendent of the Bee Building Company in Omaha. Robert W. D. Baker was occasionally listed as an architect, but appears to have primarily been working as a construction superintendent. He was the father of Arthur Dixon Baker, who had a prominent career in Omaha and Grand Island.[1]
