Oscar A. Eckerman (or Echerman) was born in January of 1873 in Illinois to Sweden-born parents John and Ingre Eckerman. He was an architect for the John Deere Plow Company. His wife was named Jennie, and their two children were named Marie and Joel.[3][4] He died on March 3, 1950 in Illinois.[5]
