Summary

Located in Nehawka, the Public Library is a one-story log cabin constructed in 1934. The building was financed by a small grant from the federal government's Civil Works Administration, and the extensive efforts of the Nehawka Woman's Club. The entire community contributed to the project through labor, donation of supplies, and other forms of assistance.
