Jan Pechanec (1842-1905), Architect-Builder

Midland, 1880, and Clarkson, Nebraska, 1894-1900


Jan Pechanec was born in Budislav, Litomysl, Chrudim, Central Bohemia, in May 1842. He worked as a farmer and a carpenter in Nebraska, and was married to Anna. They had at least three children together. Pechanec died in 1905, when he was 63. He is buried in Clarkson National Cemetery in Colfax County, Nebraska.[1][2][3][4]
