DBA: Hess & Ferrier, Architects

Rolland H. Hess and Arthur L. Ferrier (1881-1937) practiced together as architects in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1908 and 1909.[1] By 1910 both had relocated to Los Angeles, California where in 1910 the city directory listed them sharing a residential address. No joint commissions by the partners have been identified in either Nebraska or California.

A. L. Ferrier was born in Nebraska in 1881 to Sarah and John Ferrier. John was a carpenter.[7] Arthur Ferrier and Laura E. Mulder married in Lincoln in 1901.[2] Arthur was listed as an architect in Los Angeles in 1910 and 1920, then as an architectural draftsman in 1930. He died in Los Angeles in 1937.[1][3][4][5]
