Henry Donald Frankfurt was born on October 11, 1884 in Dubuque, Iowa.[4][5][7] He was an architect who practiced in Omaha. Architecture seems to have been a family interest as his sister Martha worked as a stenographer in an architect's office.[4] Frankfurt married a woman named Frieda and had five children with her.[5] After leaving Nebraska for Texas, Frankfurt worked in oil refinery.[5] Frankfurt died on June 4, 1963 in Houston, Texas.
