Glen Wesley Bouton (1914-1989), Architect
Glen Wesley Bouton was born in Boulder, Colorado, on May 24, 1914. In his early twenties, from 1934-1938, Bouton studied architecture through the International Correspondence School. Immediately after, Bouton attended the Beaux Arts Institute from 1938-1939. He began his own practice in Hastings in 1945, which he maintained through 1961. Bouton was elected Vice President of the Nebraska Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) from 1948-1950. He died on August 26th, 1989.
