Glen Robert Stippich (1924-2011), Architect

Glen Robert Stippich was born on September 24, 1924 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Abner and Edna (nee Schorzmann) Stippich. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Nebraska in 1954, then went on to practice architecture in Nebraska, both independently and with firms. Notably, Stippich had a long association with Harold Hoskins. Additionally, Stippich was a substitute teacher for the University of Nebraska College of Architecture, and he was a certified inspector for the Environmental Protection Agency. He had two children, a son and a daughter. Stippich founded the Arlyn Versteeg Stippich Memorial Endowment Fund at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was also a member of the AIA, the Moose Lodge, and St. Marks United Methodist Church; he supported the Nebraska Children's Home and the Cedar's Home for Children. Stippich died October 28, 2011.[2][3][4]
