Fritz Charles Vierk (ca. 1903-1980), Architect

Charles Fritz Vierk was born in Lansing, Illinois, ca. 1903. He worked as an architect in Lincoln, notably in the firms Hemphill & Vierk and Hemphill, Vierk & Dawson. Vierk was married to Lillian. In 1951, he was nominated for the role of Vice President of the Nebraska Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and he was elected President of the organization in 1962. He was a member of Craftsman Lodge 314 AF&AM, Scottish Rite, Sesotris Temple, Starcraft Chapter 307 OES, Lincoln Elks Lodge 80, Grace Lutheran Church, the American Institute of Architects, the State Board of Examiners for Engineers and Architects, and the Professional Advisory Council for the University of Nebraska College of Architecture's Area of Excellence Program. Vierk died on April 19, 1980.[1][2][3][4][5]
