Frank Nelson McNett (1910-ca. 2000), Architect

Frank Nelson McNett was born on April 20, 1910 in Denver, Colorado. McNett studied at Chicago Technical College and the University of Colorado at Denver. After this, he worked as a designer and draftsman for the firm, Frank Frewen from 1934-1936. In 1936, McNett became Assistant to the State Supervisor in the U.S. Government until 1938. McNett modified his firm in 1945 to Frank N. McNett & Company, Architect-Engineers, until 1955, at which point McNett welcomed a partner into the firm, making it McNett, Stanage & Company, Architect-Engineers.

In his personal life, McNett was married in 1934 and 1955, and had two children. His foreign travel primarily included the likes of England and France, and McNett was a registered architect in Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, and Wyoming. McNett was the Rotary International Director in 1946, and from 1951-1956 was an Architect member on the State Board of Examiners for Engineers and Architects. He was president of the organization in 1955. The State Board was notified of Mcnett’s death in Hot Springs, Arkansas, between Jan 1, 2000 and Feb 1, 2001.[1][2][3]
