Omaha, Nebraska, 1911-1912

Dell F. Allen was listed as an architect in Omaha directories for only the years 1911-1912. In 1913 he was listed as a clerk, and then was not listed again, in either the business or the personal sections, until 1929. He is, however, credited with a house design in 1916 building permits. Nothing more is known of this elusive individual, who did not appear in the Omaha census data for 1910 or 1920.[a]

a. The birth and deaths dates recorded here were derived from Social Security sources, and may not reflect the correct individual (Dell Allen, born June 14, 1890; died April 1965, Omaha 68102).[1]

b. Allen does not appear in Omaha personal listings prior to 1911, or after 1913, with the exception of 1929. Neither does he appear in directories from 1931-1965. Research for this page has not yet accessed directories for the years 1916-1927.
