'''Charles William Shaver''' was born in 1890. He was born and raised in Kansas, where he stayed to get a degree in architecture. Notably, he was the first registered architect in Kansas. After practicing in Salina, he moved to Beatrice, Nebraska to continue his career. Shaver is credited with designing buildings in several Midwestern states, including Oklahoma, Missouri, Colorado, and Iowa; he worked on over 800 architectural projects, a staggering resume. Perhaps for this reason, the Salina Chamber of Commerce inducted Shaver to its Business Hall of Fame. Not much is known about Shaver's personal life, except that he was married to a woman named Vera. Shaver died in 1961.[[#References|[2][4]]]
