Bernard A. Bigley (1911-1996), Architect
Bernard A. Bigley was born February 11, 1911, probably in Illinois. His proessional career began in Omaha about 1942, and continued there until he retired in 1987. Bigley was married to Ione, and they had four children: two daughters, Carol and Nancy; and two sons, Bernard Alan (d. 1992) and Robert. Bigley worked primarily in architecture and engineering. He was also a government contractor for the Air Force. He died in Omaha, July 26, 1996. He was survived by his wife, Ione, one son, one daughter, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
