Allen Booth Salisbury was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 22, 1927. Before studying architecture, Salisbury served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1946. He attended Iowa State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering in 1950.[1][2] Salisbury died on April 7, 1999 in West Des Moines, Iowa.[4]
