(DO09:0183-006)This project is located on US-275 (“L” Street) in Douglas County, starting just west of the US-75 Kennedy Freeway northbound off-ramp at mile marker (MM) 189.14 and extends east to MM 189.37 which is east of the intersection of US-275 (“L” Street) and 23rd street. Construction may begin and/or end approximately 500 feet aheadof or beyond the actual project limits to accommodate transitioning the pavement.The improvements on this project consist of widening US-275 (“L” Street) from 25th Street to 23rd Street to allow for dual left turn lanes at 24th Street. The existing asphalt would be milled and the widened areas would be built with concrete base course with integral concrete curb. The milled and widened areas would be overlaid with asphalt. Upgraded and/or modified traffic signals would be installed at the intersections of 23rd, 24th, and 25th Streets with US-275 (“L” Street).Eligible. Fire Station No. 5
