Born in August 1831 in Germany, '''John F. Feight''' was a carpenter and contractor who lived in Dayton, Ohio.[[#References|[3][4]]][[#Notes|[a]]] He may have lived for a while in Wisconsin before going to Ohio, as his oldest son was born in Wisconsin.[[#References|[4]]] Feight is credited with designing one house in Omaha.[[#References|[1][2]]] Feight's wife was named Eunice and they had three sons together.[[#References|[3][4]]]
