'''Jens Jensen''' was born in Dybbøl, Denmark on September 13, 1860.  [[#References|[2]]] He married his wife Anne Marie Hansen after serving three years in the military in Prussia. [[#References|[3]]] He then immigrated to the U.S. in 1884, and lived in Chicago, Illinois.  He worked on park projects there, and continued to expand his landscaping reach all around the Midwest. Jensen died on October 1, 1951 at the age of 91. [[#References|[2]]]
