Bernard A. Bigley was born February 11, 1911, probably in Illinois. His proessional career began in Omaha about 1942, and continued there until he retired in 1987.[[#References|[1][3]]] Bigley was married to Ione, and they had four children: two daughters, Carol and Nancy; and two sons, Bernard Alan (d. 1992) and Robert. Bigley worked primarily in architecture and engineering. He was also a government contractor for the Air Force. He died in Omaha, July 26, 1996.[[#References|[2][3]]] He was survived by his wife, Ione, one son, one daughter, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.[[#References|[4]]]
